How do I qualify as a patient? read more
A Maine-licensed physician must certify that you have a qualifying medical condition. Please click here for rules that govern the State's Medical Use of Marijuana Program. Once you have been certified you can designate Maine Organic Therapy as your dispensary. We can then begin growing medical marijuana for your benefit.

What identification is necessary to purchase my medicine? read more
Your physician certification card, AND your Maine driver's license or Maine identification card. Please note, State law prohibits dispensaries from allowing admittance to any patient without both items.
Who can visit the dispensary? read more
Any qualifying patient, or patient's (non-cultivating) caregiver, with a valid physician certification card. Non-certified individuals and minors who accompany a patient or caregiver to a dispensary visit cannot be admitted into the facility.
Can I see your cultivation facility? read more

How often can I visit your dispensary? read more
There are no restrictions on how often qualifying patients and caregivers may visit the dispensary. However, the law only allows patients to purchase 2.5 oz. of prepared marijuana in any 15 day period, or 5 oz. per month.
What is your policy on pediatric patients? read more
MOT is serving fully-licensed pediatric patients. Please note that Maine DHHS regulations require pediatric patients to have a designated caregiver. Caregivers are welcome to visit our dispensary and purchase medicine on behalf of their patient. Please note that minors cannot be admitted into the facility.

Patient safety and confidentiality are our highest priorities. MOT uses state-of-the-art security systems and procedures to ensure that your experience is safe, discreet and enjoyable.
How much does the medicine cost? read more
The cost of the medication will vary depending upon the product. For example, our marijuana flower is $10/gram. Due to federal banking restrictions, we are only able to accept payment in cash at this time. Patients with a limited income may qualify for our patient assistance program.
Are seeds and plants sold at the dispensary? read more
